U.S. Solid normally open (N/O) electric solenoid valve is constructed with a durable brass body, one-quarter inch (1/4″) female threaded (NPT) connections, and heat and nitrile rubber (NBR) seal. Suitable for use with hot or cold water, gas, air, very low viscosity fluids (<20 cst), etc.
Customers chose this general purpose valve for: do-it-yourself projects, moderate temperature applications, harsh chemicals, flow control for irrigation systems, reverse osmosis systems, or home brewing.

Valve is not intended to be energized continuously for more than 8 hours. This can lead to burnout of the coil, and malfunctioning of the valve.
Make sure this fits by entering your model number.
Constructed of industrial grade brass, this valve is corrosion resistant, more conducive for welding, optimal for higher temperature projects, and can be used with diesel fuel, natural gas, air etc. Due to the chemical composition of brass, this valve should NOT be used with projects involving drinking water or other water projects.
1/4″ Brass direct acting with NBR gasket.
This highly responsive valve will open and close in less than 1 second when actuated; meaning it will open or close the flow instantaneously when energized or de-energized. Also, our U.S. SOLID engineers have determined that the life cycle of this valve is well over a million cycles with proper operating conditions and maintenance.
PLEASE NOTE: This valve is NOT a continuous duty valve and should NOT be in continuous use for more than 8 hours in a single cycle; to do so will shorten the life of the valve and may cause the core of the valve to burn out. If you need a continuous duty valve for your project please search for our U.S. SOLID Motorized Ball Valves.
As with all U.S. SOLID products, this valve comes with a ONE YEAR WARRANTY. If the valve does become defective within the first year of purchase, U.S. SOLID will gladly replace it.
